The first ones were purchase in 1964 while we were at Folly Quarter Road. But weren't there others purchased later? Did our original set have covers?
Objects and their stories. Then stories about the stories. What do you remember? What connections can you make? What can we gather together?

We have the other set that are equipped with red leather cushions - that really need to be replaced. I'll post a pic if I can find one . . .
The original set of two was purchased in June 1964 from Bewley Bratton Associates in DC. They were covered in a blue/green fabric @ $68 each; they had been in a model house display. Also purchased was a Thayer Coggin sofa in avocado green($189),a glass top coffee table(van der Rohe) for $159, 2 Knoll teak end tables @$89 each and a ceramic table lamp, dark gray, for $42. Three months later this funiture was moved to Round Hill Road.
